We have settled on a design for the cover! I really like it. It has a plantation style house on the top. The middle is the title "Scarlet White" and the bottom is a smokey Civil War battle scene. It's all done in gray colors. It looks very classy.
Now, I'm in the layout design phase. This is where the designers turn the manuscript into a book! In about a month and a half, they will send me my story in book form for me to check over, read and return for the final touches. Then the book will be just about ready to sell and I'll work with the marketing team.
This has been a fun journey and I'm excited to actually hold the book in my hands!
