It's been a little while since, I posted. Sorry! Well, the design of the cover is finished and it looks great! The designer incorporated my ideas of a Civil War battle scene and plantation style house in a very classy design. Since then, the manuscript has gone to the layout designer who made it into an actual book! The chapter headings all have the image of the plantation house faded in the background. It really looks neat.

This last week, the layout designer mailed me the final proof, or first copy of the book. It is so incredible to hold my story as an actual book! Now, I have three more weeks to read over it and make sure that the design is correct and the punctuation is correct. I'm about a third of the way through the book so far and it has been really fun. After I mail the book back with the corrections, I will get to talk with the marketing team and begin talks of selling the book!
